Everyday Language: Music
This picture is from the spring workshop series I did with Parents Place in Waukesha and was taken by a 4 year old. It brings me joy to see the world from the eyes of a 4 year old photographer. I’m also happy to return to Parents Place for a parent and child series this fall.
Please join me on Wednesday, September 25 for Everyday Language: Music at Parents Place in Waukesha at 5:30PM.
During this parent and child class, you’ll learn how music helps children recognize patterns, increases brain connections and creates joy. Whether karaoke nights are your jam, you prefer to sing in the shower, or are tone deaf, you’ll learn how to incorporate music as part of your child’s daily routines and activities.
Together we’ll create music instruments with your child out of everyday items so you can continue the fun at home.

Jann Fujimoto, MS CCC-SLP, can be found playing her oboe in community ensembles and taking the field with a mellophone at her college marching band reunion each fall. She also helps children in Lake Country become competent and confident communicators as a speech-language pathologist and owner of SpeechWorks.
