There’s No Better App than a Lap
Recent studies show that increased screen time by both children AND parents are impacting children’s speech-language development. As child spend more time on devices, their attention and social skills decrease. As parents spend more time on devices instead of engaging with their child, the child misses out on back and forth conversation, vocabulary, and social skills.
Join me on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:00 PM at the Watertown Family Center for “There’s No Better App than a Lap – Play” will focus on going “old school” with your child to help them increase their attention span, social skills, and speech & language development. We’ll explore different board games, card games, and low-tech games that can be done anywhere.
